saperkins01, just like any other device that has been liquid damaged. First thing you want to do is stop using it. Do not turn it on, or try to sync it etc. Disassemble your phone and remove the motherboard. Follow this guide. Then clean every part with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol (unless you have an ultrasonic cleaner) To clean your phone properly, follow this guide. It was written for an iPhone but all the steps are pertinent to your phone as well. Clean all the connectors, all ribbon cables etc. While you are cleaning it, make sure that you visually check the boards form missing components etc. Once it is cleaned and dried, reassemble and replace the battery. this is a must to avoid any trouble later on. Then try out your phone and check for any further damage. you may have to repeat the cleaning a couple of times. Always make sure that you remove all the EMI shields as well. Water damage is the hardest to diagnose and repair. Even doing everything right it may still never work again, but at this point you have really nothing left to lose on this phone.
