Does the Elster smart meter contain a lithium battery?
If the Elster does not have a lithium battery, how is data stored when there is an outage?

Just wondering ,no battery but all it would take is a couple of capacitors to keep it going and the 32kB Flash memory will most likely be the place where that information gets stored.
