1 Why cant I turn on my PS2?
I plug it in to the wall and stuff, i hook it up to the tv and the red light is on, on the console; and i am ready to play games, but when i press the power button, the light turns green for about 4 seconds then turns back red.....
I am wondering if this is a power supply problem or an internal problem.
Please help.

I would like to know the answer to that myself.
Originally I was trying to power this device on with an aftermarket power cord but there was no indication of power.
I plugged in the original power cord and for a while there was still no power. Eventually the red LED showed up. Pressing the power button makes it go green for less than a second and then it goes back to red again.
