If your coffee is brewing cold, it is likely that you have a faulty heating element. To remove the heating element, follow the power cord replacement guide to get to the electrical component of the coffee maker, but instead of removing the black wires remove the red, white, and blue wires (see top picture).
To detach the actual heating element, follow the instructions to remove the heating plate, except remove the heating element rather than the plate beneath (see bottom picture).
