Use a 2009 or 2010 battery?

I have this MBP, and it servers me pretty well.

But with time, battery life has fallen to a poor 1h10mins average

So I'm wondering, is it possible to use a battery from a later unibody, which have much longer autonomy with this first-gen unibodies ?

you will need to use the battery designed for use with your laptop.

look on the battery and get the model # and order the same one. when you get your new battery be sure and run your laptop on battery and let it drain to about 10% after it fully charges. NEVER leave it plugged all the time.
