ipad black, not recognized by itunes

ipad 2 went black and never recoverd. all apple-support hints did not work (recovery ...). the ipad is not recognized when i connect it to itunes. there is no sound when connecting, the usb-cable is o.k., as i tested with another ipad.

will ipad be recognized with broken batteries? then the batteries should be not the problem, but maybe the dock connector?!

what would be the right steps for repair? which parts first?!

i already removed the glass ... only broke the wifi-connection ;-)
