The battery cover on Apple aluminum Wireless Keyboard is stuck? Any suggestions on how to open it?

Also use a coin and turn the cover latch back and forth to break loose any corrosion.

side cover will NOT open!! Put the keyboard in a vise, tried a metal washer held by a vise grip...no way!! It will not budge...poured penetrating oil in where the batteries are and it is soaking...
