Home Button stops working after bettery replacement.

After battery replacement, my iPhone 5's home button is not working at all, not even if I press really hard.

I've had several topics and mostly people say the 3 chips next to the sim card might be knocked off. I checked and those chips of my phone are still at there with their black boxes.

Anyone knows what else I should check ?

When removing the battery did you pry on between the logic board and the battery? If yes, then you could have caused some logic board damage. Also take a look at your home button flex you could have damaged it.

When you open the 5s, you need to remove a tiny metal cover carefully, then carefully detach the home button flex from the plug at the base of the battery. When removing the battery, if you weren't able to use the white ribbons to remove the adhesive, it's really tough to un-stick. Prying the battery up may cause you to lean on, bend, or break delicate grounds or components.
