Xbox One black screen on every start up?

I've read up on this and have tried every solution, are there any other ones I'm missing? What's going on with my Xbox? Can I fix this problem myself, or will I have to send it somewhere to get it fixed?

I've run into this issue going on my third time, All hard drive fail issues. Come problem with the Xbox one series. I asked if it may be an issue on the motherboard. had it checked nothing wrong. Just hard drives going bad frequently. I'm still trying to get it figured out past that lol

http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/s.... Follow this link & go down to USB factory restore option. Had the same issue & this fixed it. A little tricky getting the Xbox to recognize the USB stick. I had luck pressing sync button first & hold button, then eject& hold, then press & hold power button & listens for the beeps.

Can you clarify which sequence of buttons you pressed. The troubleshooter only mentions the Bind, Eject and power buttons. They dont mention using the controller buttons.

Its changed slightly after one of the newer updates. Press and hold bind(sync button on console)and eject, while still holding those press power. Keep holding bind and eject until menu comes up with several options. Use a controller that is synced to console or connected by usb cable to select which option you want. Been awhile since I had to do it but download the full factory reset file instead and use the usb reset option.

Could be a few other things but this usually takes care of a lot of error codes and black screen problems I've come across.

I had this issue after my last update to OS version 10.0.15063.4103. My screen was black initially with an HDMI signal than no signal after doing a 10 sec boot. I went to the troubleshooter and downloaded a 24MB updater.xvd file saved in a $SystemUpdate folder on an NTFS formatted USB stick. Booted the console with the Bind and Eject buttons hearing second powerup tone after 10-15 secs. The system installed something and i was back in. However with my second screen freeze this year it refuses to work not even with the full set of OSU1 and OSU2 files. Iam completely baffled and sitting with a useless blackbox.

I had the same issue before turned out it was the hard drive acting up. What fixed it for me was doing an offline system update using a USB stick from the Xbox support site. It basically reinstalls the OS without needing the console to boot properly. After that, mine started up fine again. Might be worth a shot before thinking about replacing the drive.
