when I press the power button nothing happens.

There is an led on the MB indicating that it has power but when i press the power button nothing happens. All the cables are connected and there is no visible damage to the motherboard and other components.

Hi guys, I have the exact same problems. I have checked the psu and power connectors, and the front card power button, they are all fine. The bios chip gets really hot though.

What can I do?

thanks

my guess would be electrolytic capacitors in the power supply are going bad

purchase another similar P.C - put your hdd & ram in it - doesnt cost much

Replace the motherboard. It'very easy. While doing that add 3.8 processors and AMD 5450 video board. Put all 4 gigs of memory. Add 1 terabyte hard drive. Install Windows 10 and you,'ll have a nice running computer. But the motherboard alone will solve your problem, You can get them cheap on EBay.

I’ve had the same problem and I have a answer for it. There should be a green pin inside and if it’s on the “RTCRST” pin move it to the “PSWC” pin and that will work.
