Released in April 2011, the D5100 replaces the D5000 as one of Nikon's popular consumer DSLR cameras. It features a replaceable Nikon F-mount lens.

Can I separate the circuit board from D5100 LCD screen?

I ordered a new LCD screen for my daughter's Nikon D5100 that she dropped. When I took the monitor apart, I notice that the new LCD does not have a circuit board attached. Can I pry the circuit board from the damaged LCD screen and use adhesive to attach it to the new replacement LCD screen? Thanks!

Lee, looking at a replacement LCD, it sure does seem plausible. In your case, I'd give it a try. Your LCD is already broken, so not much to lose.
