I had the same problem with interval not available. Took the 64G card out, 16G in. Interval available again.

had the same issue.. didnt like my memory card.. I had used it week before.. then when I tried to turn on the camera it said the card was not formatted and I know there was data on it.. so now today I took the data off that card. put back in d5000 and it said it was not formatted .. I let it format it.. and now interval is off.. I threw in another SD card and its ok.. doesnt like this micro SD card now.. I have another one I have in there now.. but something is strange.. so try another SD card..

Got the same problem.

- Tried bracketing off

- Tried inserting the date and time again.

- Tried a full battery.

- Tried resetting the camera (hold i button + info button together for a couple of seconds).

- Tried all possible modes and settings.

Then I've read somewhere to somebody had issues due his 64gb card. Now I see Kevin above here say something similair. Back in the day the D5000 came out, 64gb cards were not that normal. So I might buy a cheap 8gb and see if that resolves the problem. If not, I'm out of options.
