Having the same problem.
Been replaced with new controller but same thing happened. Genuine official controller.
First R2 not works then square button failed too. (Found R2 won't work after heavy playing game and start ShareFactory, R2 can't playback anymore.)
Guess that would be chip control vulnerability happens once heavily trigger multi buttons in a same time.
The DS4 is not as tough as I think.
Can't think of it can survive in fast frequently and multi-buttons pressed in same time.
Wonder how to re-calibrate back the DS4?
