Connection to Wifi but not to my Service Provider

I can access everthing on my phone that works with Wifi. But my calls & text don't come through because I keep loosing service. This started to happen after my phone over heated in the lower part where the SIM card is located. I have replaced my SIM but it didn't help.

i have the same problem with my iPhone 5s,the server connection only

last 5 minutes every time you swatch on / off.
