Released in North America in November 2006, the Wii was Nintendo's first home console to directly support Internet connectivity, supporting both online games and digital distribution of games and media applications through the Wii Shop Channel.

Wii powers on, with sound but no video.

My wii works perfectly fine. The only issue I have is when I boot it up (Red light to green light), sound comes out of the tv, but no video is shown. I have gone through five different brands and types of wii video/audio cables and nothing has worked. I think it has something to do with the video plug inside the console. Can anyone help me with this?

Never mind this question, I found out the answer why. The inner connections to the video plug had come undone. But now it can't be fixed because the entire system memory corrupted and "bricked" itself. I would get it fixed but all of the stuff I had on there I already have on my newer system.

Take it down then. This question is clogging up the que. Nothing against you but ya know...
