Touch ID working but home button is not

Hi,

I'm having an unusual issue with my 5s, as the description says, my Touch ID works without issue, however the home button itself is not working. It gradually got worse, going from working 50% of the time to as it is now, which is never. I'm using assistive touch to navigate out of apps and such now, and like I said using Touch ID now problem. I wondered if anyone has come across this issue before and if there is a fix? (That maintains TouchID functionality). Funnily enough the problem developed one year and two days after I purchased it, go figure.
