droped my phone and screens broken

so couple of days ago i dropped my samsung intensity II down my stairs...i know clumsy right? but the screen now looks like its shattered but the screen is not cracked in any way. The screen is white and black but i am still able to see about an inch of the bottom of the screen. so i know it works. i searched around on the internet and thought i might need a new led screen? i dont know if i do and if you need a picture i will get.

What you are describing is the LCD screen underneath the glass, which has been shattered and needs to be replaced. This is often due to pressure and rarely a drop. Unfortunately, you will need a new LCD in order to get your screen back.
