Can I just swap a motherboard?

I dropped my phone and busted the screen. I have another phone someone gave me to try and take the screen out of to fix mine. But can I just swap the motherboards or something else to get the other phone working with my data?

Service carrier is either with the mother mainboard (topmost) Sprint (CDMA) or it follows the SIM card with phones (GSM) that use SIM cards like Verizon, AT&T etc. Your photos are in the mainboard or microsd card. Phone numbers maybe in the SIM (On some) and or the motherboard.

It was the same carrier. I tried it and it worked perfectly. Much easier than trying to fix the screen.

Put your broken phone up on Ebay or Swappa. Fixing broken phones are money in the bank for guys like me and you get some money for your "junk"!!!
