Why can I not change the radio station?

When I go to change the radio station, the tuning wheel has limited range. It does not allow me to turn the tuning wheel beyond a given radio frequency.

If your tuning wheel has a broken gear or is worn, it might need to be replaced. A worn tuning wheel will can cause the limited range. The gears connecting the tuning wheel and radio frequency doesn't allow to past a certain point. Replacing the tuning wheel will allow for the gears to turn effectively.
