I got my phone wet, HELP!

I accidentally left my phone in my pocket when I went to the beach. When I realized it, I took it apart and left it out to dry, but it still won't work. What should I do? Is it a lost cause??

Changes are that it's a lost cause by now, but you could try to dry everything out in a tub of rice. The rice absorbs any extra moisture that might be still in the phone. Make sure you don't have any sand stuck in it as well I guess. You can use canned air to blow that stuff out.

Try to soak the logic board in at least 90 percent rubbing alcahol, i used it for a iphone 4s that went thru the washing machine and dryer but it needed a new lcd, although it connected to itunes. try a new battery also, that usually helps too.
