@kozzmic: That video only explains how to replace the full screen (LCD + glass + touch), not just the glass + touch. Seems you can buy the glass + touch digitizer without the LCD, and that makes the repair a lot cheaper, but maybe a bit more complicated: http://www.parts4repair.com/touch-screen...

Here's some insight on how to separate the glass + digitizer from the LCD. Looks like it's easy to do something wrong: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=levTY6Ix...

HI!

It's a pain in the ass to do this and i think this dont justify to have the job done.

I used two keychain rings attached in a piece of Nichrome wire because it's very hard to broke.

I heated a little all the tablet and put everytime direct heat in the part i'm with the wire and did the job with very very carefull.

after i thought the worst part is done, i've come with the loca glue removing. I think it's harder than the first part of removing digitizer from LCD. I used Isopropyl alchool and did it finally. but some alchool go to backlight and i can do nothing. The display is now blotched with alchool in some parts.

Conclusion: With very patience you can do this but i don't think it worth the effort.
