Weird lines on screen, do I need a replacement?

Block Image

Soo, after wiping off my display with a LCD cloth, and turning my computer back on, I got some strange lines in the bottom of my display. I didnt think i pressed toooo hard when cleaning, and its not too much of an obstruction of view, but it is kinda annoying. Has this happend to anyone else?

Strange...Looks like a static issue. Is there a magnet near the MB, or big speakers.

I was thinking he was wiping the display--you remember when we had to degauss monitors? It looks a little like that--do you think he could of built up a static charge in that corner? Ralph +

Actually- can't some materials have static in them? I mean isn't that why you use anti-static cloth?

Never saw these lines in a LCD monitor but maybe the OP had a static electricity build up that he discharged to the LCD electronics ?????????

Try removing and reinstalling the LCD panel.
