keeps shutting itself off and taking pictures of the home screen.

Here is a better description of what the phone is doing.

If you power it down, at some point it goes back to the "slide to unlock" screen. it will go black then the screen will light back up to the slide to power off screen. It will shut down repeatedly when you are just watching it, no input needed. Sometime when you touch the home button it takes a picture of the screen, sometimes not. It just clicks and goes to either the power off or the slide to unlock screen. It started doing this yesterday afternoon with nothing to upset it at all.

It has come on and off at least 10 times while i was typing this.

No drops, no damage, no water. It is in an Otterbox i have removed it with no changes in the behavior. it is unusable at this point.

Anybody have a clue? I don't.
