My Uniden Phone EZX290 fell in a little water.. worked for a few days then stopped won't charge or even light up. Changed the battery still no difference could it be a fuse in the panel or a resistor and if so where?? the phone made some funny busing noises before it quit.

Sharon, "funny busing noise" sounds like a short circuit. I recommend that you do not try to charge or turn your phone on at all. Remove the battery and disassemble your phone. You do want it cleaned in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and use a soft brush to clean it with. Check for any charred or missing components. Let us know what you find.

GREAT.. did as you said and the phone has been charging 6 hours finally lights up but no dial tone and no lettering in the window.. Do I need to clean it again?? could it be something else?
