Samsung's 5th-generation Android-based Galaxy smartphone was released April 11, 2014. Improvements to the phone include a fingerprint scanner, updated camera, larger display, and water resistance. It is available in four different colors; black, blue, white, and copper.

Is there a way to replace the front glass only?

Is there a way to take off the front glass ONLY? With the S4 the front glass was ONLY attached to a cable for the buttons on the bottom. For the S5 there are connectors and copper attached to the glass. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes there is a way however I would not recommend it unless you have a hot plate as the s5's LCD is MUCH thinner than the s4's. Glass only is a hard enough repair as it is.... Samsung didn't make it any easier with the s5. If you still want to give it a try here is a video that should help!
