Marry motherboard and optical drive?

Is there away to marry a new motherboard to a old optical drive if not. Where can you buy both and for how much

David, so it sounds like for right now that you have not bought either part. It will be tough to do so since you have to dump your NAND and the to read the DVD key from the dump. Check for JTAG hack on Google and you should get plenty of hits. What is going on with your Xbox that you need.want to replace those parts?

My motherboard stop working so I took it apart and couldn't find a mother board but since they sell them I would like to get one without but a new cd reader
