Legality questions on selling an upgraded iMac

Hi all I have been somewhat addicted in buying these broken imac on eBay and fixing them up. I have one that I have replaced the hardrive with the ssd drive, and one that I have replaced the optical drive with a ssd drive. Both work great. My question is can I get in to any trouble selling these on eBay? Also if not what would be a fair price to set them at? Any other tips is appreciated. Thanks!

As long as you know the machine has not been stolen I see no problem with resale. You can charge what the market will bear. Do a search on ebay for completed sales of machines similar to your builds to set a reserve and see how many bids you get.

If this answer is acceptable please remember to return and mark it.

Good to know, thanks I will try my luck at around $1100 for my i7 with the 1tb hd and the added 240 gig ssd drive in the optical slot. 8 gigs ram. Seam fair?
