Missing Surface Mount Component

Hi,

I've had an iPad mini come to me which has been dropped and a complaint that the replacement digitizer doesn't work.

On inspection, there seems to be a missing surface mount component which has been dislodged and mislaid.

Can anyone identify the component?

that is normal--those solder pads are placeholders and do not hold a component.

If it is an aftermarket digitizer presoldered assembly, the aftermarket touchscreen ic would be my first suspect.
