Is it possible to solder a power cable clip?

I've got a mini that when taking the power button cable off the logic board snapped the clip that holds it to the logic board off. Is it at all possible to A.) find a replacement part and B.) solder it back to the board? Or am I just up the creek and need a brand new logic board?

If theres anything to solder the cable on, i'd go that way.

do you mean this part ? since there are normally no new original apple parts on the market - you won't be able to get a new one.

the important question is - are the contacts still on the logticboard (silver) or are they teared off (brown)??

but even if they were teared off - there could be a possible solution for that problem - but it wont be easy

The contacts are still there. Would it be possible to get a broken logic board and salvage a clip off of it? Or can I just solder it right to the board?

reMacberlin is right,if there is anything left - solder it on - if not, well - use conductive silver, hot glue and your imagination to fix it ;-)
