Loose electrical connection on PowerBook

Where power adapter plugs into the PowerBook has loosened over the years and is not charging the battery.

How can I get this part replaced or do it my self.

Yes you can replace the DC IN port. You probably don't have to. Look at the AC plug in and note the outer metal sheild with the slit in it. As time goes by this can get spread open and it starts making incomplete connection with the wall of the DC IN port. If this ring is squeezed back into a tighter circle it will tighten the connection and correct the charging problem. It doesn't even have to be pretty to work.
