Where is the display inverter on the Wallstreet?

I am attempting to replace the inverter on my Wallstreet. There isn't a guide for that procedure here, but I went through the display removal guide, expecting to find it under the clutch cover like the Pismo.

Well the joke was on me, as it wasn't there as I'd expected. I see that the inverter cable connector plugs directly into the logic board which leads me to believe that it is inside the display cover itself.

Am I missing something or does the inverter truly live inside the display cover?

Thank you so much!

Randy

randy3833, the inverter is tape to the LCD with what appears to be Kapton tape. Here is a decent guide for the "Wallstreet" and page 16 shows the location. Hope this helps, good luck.

oldturkeyo3! Thank you! I figured it was in there somewhere. Just hated to begin an unnecessary disassemble.

I will check out the guide. So appreciate it!
