Can I repair/replace the charge port as an individual part?

My Driod Razr (VZW) doesnt always charge. Is it possible to replace the internal port (plug) myself? Are the parts available to replace.

Lucas Szymanowski, you would have to follow this guide. Then desolder the USB port and replace it with something like this. Not an easy job since it is a bit small, but definitely doable. AS long as you have the right tools and know how to solder. If not, try a electronics repair shop to solder it for you. Hope this helps, good luck.

The replacement part that is available on your site is shown as the Motorola Droid Razor XT910 / XT912 USB Charging Port. I have the same problem as Lucas however my Driod is the XT907. Is the part you offer compatible or is there another part available?
