Is it possible to upgrade the storage on a Nexus 5?

Is it possible to upgrade the storage on a Nexus 5?

I have 37 Gb of family pictures.

A starting point for myself or my mother would be 64Gb.

Doesn't Apple offer 128Gb?

What would be the maximum possible upgrade at this time?

What would be the costs?

Where should I get it done?

Thanks

The chip is built into the board, it's the red square in the image below:

try "nexus media importer" from play store... the latest version is updated to support Nexus 5/kitkat.

then you can get a slim/small OTG/MicroUSB adapter and pop in a 64GB card.

Cheers !
