3 quarters of the screen Black with bars!

Hello,

I am trying to identify the problem. Is it the LCD or could it be something else?

It has never fallen and the "touch" works even on the black side!

Thank you

Looks like your dropped or banged your iPad so the LCD and logic connections along the edge of the screen got damaged. You'll need a new LCD panel.

Try replacing the lcd data cable

It's cheep and usually 99% of your screen malfunctions.

Good luck

Not likely the cable, given the visible symptoms. If it were the cable then the entire screen would look a mess not just a part of it.
