problem re-seating the Graphics card on the logic board

this is my second question on the same problem. i was able to successfully recover the use of the display after removing the logic board and heating and re-seating the graphics card. However,i have done this twice now and each time the 'fix' only lasts for a few hours and then the screen suddenly goes black. question; how hot should i be getting the graphics card in order to permanently re-seat it so it will stay fixed.

That's the problem with home repairs of ball joint chips. Sometimes it works-sometimes not and there is always a risk of destroying the logic board. There are a number of companies that have the equipment to do a proper repair for around $50. If it were my board I would google the problem and send it to be repaired. Ralph
