Broken letter on keyboard?.

I have a Pismo G3 Apple laptop that was fixed up after being in storage for a long time. I was hoping to start using it again for more simple tasks such as writing.

Now suddenly the letter "A" won't work anymore. It's not stuck and I can press it just fine. Is this repairable or do I need a whole new keyboard now?.

Sounds to me that the KB is faulty however it is worth removing it and taking a closer look at it to see if there are any signs s of damage and to reseat the connector.

Richdave is correct. + This is the easiest Mac to work on. See ifixit guides (link provided) for other repairs. I believe if you search ebay you can find the keyboard for less money. One ebay source I use for parts is Tonyzz as he specializes in older laptops but there are many other sources. Go for it and good luck.
