nadira, you did not tell us how you cleaned your Kindle. The very first thing I recommend is that you do not use your Kindle until you are absolutely sure it is properly cleaned. Disassemble it by using the help of this teardown. Even so it is not a perfect guide, it will show you all the important steps. Once it is apart, clean every part with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. Do not forget to clean the cable ends and all the connectors. Use a soft brush and isopropyl alcohol to clean the logic board. Once you cleaned it, let it dry for only a few hours. Replace the battery, and reassemble your Kindle. Re-evaluate for any damage. Hope this helps, good luck.
