My nuvi 680 needs a new battery (it won't take a charge.) I have found a battery supplier. I know about batteries and can do virtually any electronic repair, but I can't find a way into the 680 case! No screws or obvious pry spots. All help welcomed. Thanks.

The antenna guide for this device shows some tiny screws on and behind the antenna that can be removed. After removing those screws, a spudger will get the case open.

Hi, Adam, thanks for the reply. I actually found a Youtube video on this problem so, as soon as my mail order battery arrives (with tool kit), I expect to be able to put it in easily. I am still amazed that the 680 has virtually hidden screws... you have to take off the antenna, then the case screws are accessible. Take them out and the case can be pried open.
