Can I upgrade the logicboard with an intel processor?

Hi there... Has anybody tried to upgrade the logicboard of a PowerBook G4 Aluminium with one of a MacBook Pro? Are there any chances of compatibility?

HI Ralph, thanks for your comments. I will start to save money to get a MacBook Pro if I want to be current with software upgrades.

I always appreciate thanks but mactect plus is the one deserving here. I merely agreed with him. Ralph

Chances are not good. They use different mounting points, different power supplies, different keyboard chips, and different screens. So if you changed all the stuff you would have a computer that cost you 3-5 times what a new MacBook Pro would cost. And that's if you could get it into the old cabnet. But good luck
