My screen is showing lines and junk and covering up everything?

It fell from my kitchen counter when i was trying to grab something. About 3 ft. drop. It was also ON in my pocket for a long time. The screen looks like the T.V. screen when the cable not available. Please find a solution.

Either the screen broke or the connection cables to it got pulled, try opening it and seeing if moving/reconnecting the cables going to the screen helps.
