Is it possible to replace G4 cube with G4 mini?

I would like to use cube display and speakers.

I would think so - but you'd be on your own, there is no guide (you could make one as you go along)

Original Cube Dimensions: 9.8 x 7.7 x 7.7

Original G4 mini Dimensions: 2.0 x 6.5 x 6.5 ( so it should slip right over the logic board - getting the optical drive to line up could be a challenge).

Newest mini Dimensions: 1.4 x 7.7 x 7.7 (NO optical drive)

Good luck,

You could use late 2006 to 2009 C2D Mini innard inside. Just to have to fit the Mini drive slot to the one of the Cube. The Cube sound card is USB, so it will work on the Mini along with the Display with an ADC to DVI adapter.
