How do I replace the LCD screen glass?

I have a MacBook Pro A1286 and the LCD is fine but the screen glass is cracked. I can find it on eBay relatively cheap but how do I take off the cracked screen glass? Is it with the heavy duty suction cups?

You can find the guide to remove the LCD here, all you have to do is stop after you remove the glass though. Follow up until step 29 and do not continue to step 30. At this point, you will just need to attach the new piece of glass to the housing with double sided 3M tape, the heavy duty kind. I is also best of you clean off the residue left behind by the last piece of glass, it will prevent the glass from detaching in the future.
