How do I fix my corrupted headphone jack?

My headphone jack looks like someone tried to dig it out with a knife. I can even fit my headphone piece in it anymore.

Darell Rogers, sounds like it is due for a replacement. here is my answer from another question I noticed ifixit does not have the instruction but they are available here http://www.portatronics.com/guide/iPod-T... does not look like an easy job but doable and will require some soldering to the logic board The jack is available in many places like this http://www.parts4ipods.com/epages/es1157... and here http://www.digiexpress.us/iPod-Touch-1G-... Hope this helps, good luck.

I will not be able to get those materials. I appreciate the help and advice though. How much would it cost in the Apple Store?
