Broken Glass screen sticks to lcd

I have 2 Htc Evo 4g's. The 1st needs glass and lcd... no problem there. The other just needs the glass but when I removed it the broken glass pulls the lcd with it. It looks easy enough to get just the glass off but both have pulled the lcd with it. Help....
