Epson no longer manufactures toner for these models - they exited the laser printer market many years ago. I know they still sell supplies for some of them in the EU and other countries, but not in the US/CAN these days. Take this caveat at face value and assess the repairability based on that.
-The first thing I would probably check is the main controller and laser for faults - if either of these is bad, then you will likely need to replace the printer. I very much doubt that Epson still manufactures spare parts for its laser printers, given the shift to inkjet technology.

It could also be due to a bad HVPS as well, so that is another part you can check.
This model is OLD, OLD - it has the 90's Epson color imaging logo before color was mainstream in the early 2000s with other manufacturers. Anyway, here's the SM to check the DC controller and laser for faults that could cause this: https://www.promotoner.com/media/models/documents/acuc1000.pdf?srsltid=AfmBOoqY5W5Sh-YmUrrlHCYXAj_FwIBONkhdtyjsCy3qHuPO64VV0xNj
