It appears that this machine has an issue with the pump that provides water to the spray arms. At one point it wasn't running at all (this pump) I took it apart and applied 120V to it, it ran fine so I put it back together. Without any real changes, it seemed to work but not fully, at least I don't think so. This is where it gets funky. It runs fine at times, but not all the time. There are times during the run that the machine is dead silent (not the drying cycle). The first run I did I ran a one hour wash and it seemed close to a successful run, but I wasn't impressed with the quality of the cleaning.
Ran it in a normal mode and same thing, it ran, the soap came out, and it completed the cycle-but the quality of the clean was poor. In this mode again, the machine goes silent at times when it should be washing (I think). But at the beginning of the cycle, I know those spray arms were moving.
I read about a possible intermittent connection with the latch. That would seem to make sense, but I cleaned this with soap and a light sandpaper to make sure it is making an electrical connection. Plus, when it is silent, I move the latch in every direction I can, and the pump doesn't turn on.
I may be off base with my assumption in that this pump is not running all the time that it should, but that is certainly what it seems.
Any thoughts are very much appreciated!
