My Steam Deck joystick replacement (part number 34F7AJB0000) arrived in a plastic bag, and the stick was forced to the right while inside the bag. Once removed from the bag, I gave it a test to make sure it was okay. The joystick "sticks" in place when pushed all the way in any direction. I have to give it a little nudge to get it to return to the center. This is prior to it being installed.
Is this normal behavior? I don't want to go through the effort of installing it if it's defective.
