1st would be to review the guide for [guide|143617] to make sure everything is connected properly, then unless you have much better eyes than me you'll likely need a magnifying glass to see if the track pads cable pins have been damaged, if so then you'll need to buy a new cable for that. If they appear to be straight, intact and not damaged, then it could be the cable or track pad has been damaged by the Alcohol as you need to use ***99%*** Alcohol and not that 70% stuff that they say is good to put on your hands.... If there is still no luck then @danj will come to the rescue :)
