If you are asking on upgrading the OS (macOS) yes that is possible by using a shim service like [[Topic:OpenCore|OpenCore]] which allows the newer OS’s Apple offers to work on older systems. To be clear anything that requires the newer hardware won’t work, even still it’s well worth it!
