Charging Pin only connects when restart

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

Hi everyone! I got this MBA A1932 and about a week ago my battery didn't charge at all, did a little inspection on the inside and found no damage like corrosion or broken connectors.
However, when I boot it up it started charging again until I disconnect it and then it won't charge until I restart the MacBook, also, for data both pins works fine (a little slow sometimes) even when disconnecting and connecting again.
Did some SMC and NVRAM restart but had no effect on it, also noticed that the battery cycles are very high (~1500) and got the maintenance warning.
Will replacing the battery solve the problem? or maybe is related to the pins themselves?
Already ordered a new battery and run some test but would like to know if this is gonna solve it or should I repair something else. Is there a program to run to diagnose this kind of issues?
